Shearing Day - Make It Pay!

Join us at Last Move Farm as shearer Taylor Schwartz walks us through the proper way to prepare your flock and your farm for shearing day. As he shears his way through a flock of 30 wool sheep of varying breeds, we will talk about what to do--and what NOT to do--for a great outcome when it is time for those fleeces to come off!

After a break for lunch, we will take a look at the good, the bad and the ugly as we learn how to make the most $$ from  our fleece by marketing to fiber artists or using the wool for value-added products from your farm!
